Roadmap & future improvements

What is coming next for Omnivy

This page is the first stop for upcoming integrations, product refinements, and known requests. Check it before using the request form so duplicate reports stay low.

Upcoming integrations

Provider support is still expanding. These are the integration directions we expect to work on next.

More Notion destinations

Smarter database routing, richer block mapping, and better saved clip templates for Notion workflows.

Additional cloud targets

Expand the shared connection model so more provider-specific sync paths can be added without changing the extension UX.

Improved clip metadata

More automatic title, tag, and source enrichment before clips are handed off to the destination provider.

Feature plans

These are product improvements focused on settings clarity, speed, and onboarding.

Sharper settings surfaces

Make connected accounts, user info, and recent activity easier to review at a glance inside the extension.

Faster clipping flows

Reduce the number of clicks between selecting content and sending it into Obsidian or a cloud integration.

More helpful onboarding

Add clearer setup guidance so new users understand what is supported before they file requests.

Share Content as Link

Allow users to instantly generate an OpenGraph-enriched URL for their clips, perfect for sharing on social media or team chats.

Website extraction logic

A short list of parsing and extraction improvements planned for the content capture pipeline.

Implementation of AI Chat parsers (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to perfectly map assistant and user roles.

Dedicated YouTube transcript extraction to save video timestamps alongside description metadata.

Better article detection for noisy pages and content-heavy dashboards.

Improved fallback parsing when a page structure changes unexpectedly.
